Biography of Michael Dobbelt
Michael Dobbelt, painter, was born on the 4th of August 1960 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. This cultural center with worldwide famous Hermitage gave him the opportunity since childhood to study the best art.
Having graduated from the Academy of Theater in St. Petersburg, he earned a degree in 1990 as a scene designer. In 1993 he left theater to engage in oil painting. Therefore his pieces are theatrical by their very nature. His strength lies in his ability to unite in various ways the scrutinized, the well thought out, the fantastic and the real, blending them
Together, exactly as it is done in the theater.
